How to Place An Avon Order Online

I am fairly new to leadership. I have managed to successfully sell Avon for many years without a downline. I tried a little in the past to recruit with very little success but in the year 2015 I decided to really push recruiting. So far my efforts are working. I have managed to recruit five. One thing I notice is that they all seem to have the same questions about how to place an Avon order online. I decided to write this blog post to help them and anyone else that has a new recruit.

The first thing to do when placing orders is to visit the Avon representative site. I always tell my recruits to place their order a day ahead of time since orders are due at 12 noon. If a new recruit has to pay on orders at the time that the order is placed, I suggest, collecting all money at least two days before orders are placed. For example if the order is due on March the 20th, the representative would be safe to place the order on March the 19th. The money should be collected for representatives that need to pay at the time orders are placed on March 18th. I feel this way because I have actually had things to come up at the last minute that cost my orders to be late which meant a late fee.

So here we go! Log into the site with your account number and your password. If you are unsure about your password, a new one can always be created by clicking on forgot your password.

Once you are logged in, you will see this on your screen. Click on my orders.

If you owe Avon, before you place a new order this would be the time to pay because your order may be cancelled or delayed if a payment is due. If this is the case, you will see this on the screen. Click on pay Avon now or on the left side of the screen, you can also click on pay Avon.

To start placing a new order, click on the far left tab that says my orders. This is what your screen should look like.

Notice that the current campaign is already selected where it says create order in Campaign. If this is not the campaign that you wish to place the order in, this can be changed but for new reps, I suggest placing orders in the current campaign. A future order for the next campaign can also be started but Avon will not allow the order to be placed until that campaign.

To place an order enter a new customer or choose on the right side of the screen from your list of clients that you have already entered. Avon will not allow you to move forward in placing an order unless you have chosen at least one client. Keep in mind Avon will charge a separate fee for each customer served. This is why almost towards the end of placing your order, Avon will ask how many clients placed an order.

This is what happened when I tried to place an order without selecting or adding a new client. After I enter a client, I can proceed by clicking on create order by entering a product # or description on the screen.

When clicking on the pink create order tab this is what the screen will look like. The current campaign will already be selected here also but this can be changed. Orders can be back ordered from the two previous campaigns here. The order placed will still be placed in the current campaign but the price will be reflected from the campaign the order was placed in. Clients that have expired books two campaigns back can still place orders from those books. This is why as a rule I no longer put expiration dates on my books but I will let clients know when orders are due.

Notice that I entered a product number 013982 with a quantity of one. On the right side of the screen, I can delete this order if I want. If I have other items to order, I simply enter those items and remember to place the orders in the campaigns that the client ordered in.  When I have finished adding those items, I click on add items to order.

Once items are added this is what the screen will look like. If something has been entered in error, the representative can edit the order. Avon will let the representative know if the items are available or not. The order can be deleted at anytime.

The next thing to do would be to click on view cart.

This is what your screen will look like. This is not an actual order so I only have one item entered but yours will probably have several items. Click on where it says select all orders. This will select your orders to be placed. Also you must type in the amount of customers you served or Avon will not allow you to move forward with your orders. Remember to charge your clients a processing fee because Avon will charge you for each client as stated before. After that click on sales tools. This is what your screen should look like. Avon brochures along with samples and bags can be ordered here.

(ordering bags and samples)
To order samples or bags, on the top right side of this same screen. You can not see it from this image but the screen will say product search. Simply enter the word samples. Avon will show you all of the available samples this campaign. If you would like to order bags, type in bags and proceed ordering those items.

(ordering brochures)
Keep in mind that brochures are ordered in packs of 10. So if you enter a quantity of 1 this means you have ordered 10 brochures. I suggest ordering 100 or more brochures if you are someone that really wants your business to grow. The brochures are more cost effective this way. Avon will show you the cost of brochures. If you are Spanish speaking or know people that are, brochures can also be ordered in Spanish. Clients also have the option to shop your online store in Spanish. After you have entered the amount of brochures you want,  click on order summary. Avon will show you your order again. You can now click on submit order. Your order details will be sent to your email address.

  Your Done!

I will write another blog post on how to order other sales tools but this will help you with placing orders. If you need any additional help, please don't hesitate to call Avon's customer service number.
