Can You Sell Avon Without Brochures?

This is a question that was addressed to me today. My answer is yes! The person that asked me this question mentioned that in the past she often passed out tons even hundreds of brochures and was a little bit tired of spending money on brochures. She seemed to feel that she would pass out a hundred brochures only to gain one client. There are times when this is true but overall if that one client is a good client then it is altogether worth it. If you can keep that client pleased then eventually you will get the money that you spent on the brochures back.

Getting back to the question. How can a person sell Avon without brochures? It's simple direct them to your website. Let them know that you are an E-rep. (electronic) Make sure you tell them the great benefits of ordering online. 

Examples:


1. They can place and order 24 hours a day.

2. They can order from anywhere in the USA.

3. Orders can be shipped directly to their home.

4. They can get free shipping on orders $30 or more.

5. Ordering straight from the site saves them the hassle of having to call the representative.

6. Often when clients order from the brochures certain products are out-of-stock, but if they order from your site then the product may be available.

These are all things that you can emphasize when you are trying to get clients to order online.

Do I feel that reps. should do away with the paper brochure? Of course not! This is your mobile store. Avon reps. are known for these brochures and I honestly feel that you will gain more clients with these books because there will be times when you will get more than one client per 100 books passed out. 

Don' t forget as I mentioned in one of my other blogs that you can make flyers from pages in brochures and pass out single page flyers if this works for you. 

Another way to sell without brochures is to upload pictures of products on your social media network sites with a link to your site.
The vendor spaces are a great place to sell Avon and pass out cards with that sites address on it. I will be honest though, people will ask for those brochures. There was a time when I cut down on how many brochures that I passed out but......this meant that I needed to market my business MORE in other ways so it looks like it to me that either way we still have to work hard to sell Avon.

*A great tip for Youtube users. Do product reviews on a video. Make sure you let viewers know how they can make a purchase by including a link to your site. This is something you should do on going why? Because marketing is an ongoing process!
