I must admit when I first started selling Avon all those years ago I tossed those expired brochures because I thought they had no value or use. Now today all these years later I feel totally different. Today I want to share with followers how I capitalize on using these brochures. I absolutely do not like the idea of throwing my pennies in the trash.
I do not make it a habit of giving these brochures to my regular clients but if there is a chance that I might pick up new clients, I leave them everywhere. Now where a person can leave brochures varies form city to city. Where I live, I can leave a few in the doctor's office and I can even them them in the post office. I even use them whenever I do events where there is vendor space. I never put the date that the brochures expire on my brochures. I did in the past but figured out that it just works better for me. Besides, my regular clients are familiar with back ordering and how that works.
Moving right along-If a person calls me about placing an order, I always ask them what campaign they want to place an order in. Now if I can back order and give them the same price then there won't be a problem at all. I simply let the client know that the brochure is expired but I would be glad to look up the product or products that they are interested in. If I do not get any calls from these brochures then there is no loss. I always make sure my web address is on the brochures because even if they are expired, a person may visit the site and find something else that they may want to purchase. Now I know that some people pass out all of their brochures before they expire and that is even better but remember if you are a person that has those left over expired brochures you can still earn from these brochures.
