(DIY) Do It Yourself Avon Car Signs

Today I want to share with reps how I made myself two cute Avon car signs. The signs are very small. They are just the right size to fit in the back window of my car. I enjoy making things myself and sometimes I enjoy saving a little money too. The signs were very easy and inexpensive to make.

1st
I created two signs on the computer both on a standard 8" by 11" piece of zerox paper. After I printed the copy, I had Office Depot laminate the sheet and then cut it in half making two signs.

2nd
I purchased a pack of suction cups from Office Depot. The suctions cups are specifically for this purpose. The cups come with hooks on the back.

3rd
I used a hole puncher to punch holes in the signs. After that I hung the signs on the hooks that are on the sunction cups. I mean this was super easy.

Note: I noticed that the hooks that came with the cups were relatively lose. I preferred to use gem clips. They looked a lot like the hooks that were already on the cups. I sort of bent the hooks a little but I have no problem now with the sign falling off of the cups.

(Here is a close-up of the sunction cups)

Tips:

*If your car is very hot, I would not use the sign. I feel that there is a possibility that the sign may melt. I will only use it when its not so hot outside.

*Now that you have your new signs, make sure you have brocures in your car at all times.

What I paid for the entire project - 4.04

1.49 - one laminated sheet
2.29 suction cups
total 3.78 plus .26 cents tax

6/11/2015 (update) :)

This is day two of using the sign. It's held up well so far. Its fairyly hot outside and I left it in the car without any problems with melting.

(ssshush! I'll tell you all a secret!
I won't purchase another Vista Print Sign. (they peel badly) lol

I do love purchasing signs but what some don't know about me is that I am a crafter. I have another crafting marketing idea so please subscribe!

Thank you so much for visiting. I hope this helps you.
