Today I want to share how to save money making easy gifts. Today I started making gifts to sell for the Christmas holiday. I started by making these simple easy $5 gifts. Now because I only want to sell them for $5 I needed to figure out how I could cut the cost of supplies and Avon products. The first thing I did was visit a thrift store in my area. I thought maybe I could find some mugs for .25 cents each but did better than that. I only paid .10 cents per mug. I took them home washed and dried them and they turned out pretty cute. They are in excellent condition and I even found some I could use for Valentines Day.
I simply used plastic Avon bags that I already had and just slipped the cups in the bags. Now the bottom of my cups are lined with pecans that I picked up myself. I did this so that the products on the inside of the cups could be more visible. On the inside of the cups are two samples, one trial size lip gloss, one mini hand lotion and just some other small things that I had around the house.
I also included my business card and a very small prospecting flyer.The Christmas ribbon is some I had left from last year. They would make the perfect inexpensive gift for a teacher or anyone.
