1. Hotels & Motels
When you leave a motel or a hotel, leave a brochure on the night stand.
2. News Paper Stands
This is a great place to leave the expired brochures.
3. Coffee Shops
Leave your brochure on the table with a tip.
4. Restaurants
Visibly leave a dollar tip on top of the clear plastic brochure labeled free brochure.
5. In CD Drop Boxes
When you drop off your rented CD's, how about dropping a brochure in the box.
6. Colleges
This is a good place for prospecting. College students often need to earn extra money. Place ads on college bulletin boards and leave a few brochures in restrooms, on tables, etc...
7. Garage/Yard Sales
If you are the person having either, how about throwing a brochure in the bag when people make purchases. This is also a great place to set up an Avon table.
8. Fitness Centers
How about leaving brochures in changing rooms. Leave a few in the bathroom. Reps can also make copies the pages of the brochures that have items specifically for fitness. examples: sneakers, workout gear etc... and include contact info.
9. With Realtors
Why not talk with real estate agents and ask them if you could create a welcome to your new home sample pack, goodie bag, or basket! This could be used for new rentals or for home owners.
10. Teachers of the year
How about asking your school if you can share a small gift with the teacher of the year at your child's school or at any school?
11. Family & Children Services
This is a great place to recruit. What about creating a flyer that will let people know that they can change their current financial situation by becoming an Avon representative.
12. Community Bulletin Boards
Use the Avon plastic bags and take pegboard pins to attach brochures on bulletin boards. If you are wondering if the brochures are too heavy, use the outlet brochures and flyers. (make sure you include samples and prospecting information)
13. Family Reunions
Any place where there are a lot of people is always a great place to sell and share the Avon opportunity. Do all of your family members know that you sell Avon? You could even take a few products.
14. Daycare Centers
This is a great place to hand out brochures as parents are leaving from picking their children up. This is also a great place to generate fundraiser leads. I would ask to speak with the manager or owner and ask if they'd be interested in earning money for their center. If they can't talk then, I would ask if you could set up a time to give them a call later to set up an appointment.
15. Unemployment Office
This is the perfect place to target people that need money. One thing for sure most if not all of the people there need to earn money.
16. School Bus Drivers
This one worked for me! :) I gave my daughter's bus driver a couple of books. She gave one to the bus monitor. The driver placed an order. We just never know until we try.
17. Job Fairs
This is the perfect place to set up a recruiting table. I suggest being prepared to sign people up that day. A poster that says JOIN NOW or help wanted would be great. They can use their smartphone to join or your laptop. Make sure you have enough recruiting flyers, recruiting forms, email list, & Avon videos playing on your laptop so that people can see our success.
18. PTA Meetings
This is another opportunity to pass out a lot of brochures as people are leaving the meeting. School awards ceremonies, graduations, or any function at school where there are a lot of people are opportunities. Remember to be friendly and work as fast as you can. Passing out as many brochures as you can is key.
19. Parties
When my little ones are invited to birthday parties, I use this as another opportunity to network and share the opportunity. Ask the party host if you can give away goodie bags to the kids. Make sure you include a brochure and give the bag to the parents. You may even want to ask if there is a certain party theme.
20. Networking Events
Selling Avon is pretty hard to do if no one knows what you do. If you are a person with very few people in your circle, you may want to get out and meet new people. Try visiting Eventbrite and searching for events in your town. Some of them are even free.
21. Home School Groups
If you are someone that home schools, try joining home school support groups. Parent that are in the home with their children often need another source of income.
22. Church
This is a home runner for me. I am active in my church duties and some of the members are my best clients. I don't have to deliver products because after service, I handle the Avon business.
24. Fashion & Hair Shows
These are places where a lot of people are present that love to look good. The famous Bronner Brothers show is a place where companies are already giving out samples anyway. I know because I am a hair stylist and have attended the shows.
25. The Shopping Mall!
People already have shopping on their mind and I love the idea of meeting people face to face apposed to tossing brochures. Tossing is great but people connect with faces!
So there we have it! Here are twenty five places to leave Avon Brochures. Maybe you can think of places on your own. Remember to be friendly, include samples, & if you can get contact information. Purchase as many brochures as you can because the days of passing out 10 or 20 will not help you earn a lot of Avon money. Plus the more you purchase, the more money you save on brochures.
